Low Level Laser Therapy (LLLT)
Chiropractic adjustments and LLLT work together to address the structural
alignment of the joints (chiropractic manipulations) and the cellular level
of injured tissues (laser therapy.)
What are the benefits of Laser Therapy when Combined with Chiropractic Care?
Chiropractic adjustments align joints, while LLLT (laser therapy) promotes healing at the cellular level.
Adjustments relieve nerve pressure, and LLLT stimulates cell activity, reducing inflammation and pain. These non-invasive treatments offer relief from various conditions, including joint pain and tissue injuries.
How Does LLLT Work?
When a low level laser is placed on injured tissues or cells, such as muscles or ligaments, light energy is absorbed. The absorption of light stimulates the damaged cells to increase their energy production, known as ATP, which is used to restore the damaged cells back to healthy active cells. Low Level Laser Therapy penetrates through the skin, deep into the tissue to restore normal cell energy, circulation, and tissue repair.
