Gail has always been interested in health and wellness. As a child she wanted to pursue a career as either a medical doctor or veterinarian and she was impassioned with helping people (and animals!). As she grew up and started learning more about the human body it became clear that Western Medicine, although powerful and appropriate in certain situations, was not the best path to health. She learned how the powerful effects of holistic medicine and the importance of treating the whole person, rather than focusing on the symptoms, leads to wellness.
The profound changes she experienced after a series of acupuncture treatments inspired Gail to explore Chinese medicine and pursue a career as an acupuncturist. Gail graduated from the Northwest Institute of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in 2003. She has learned that we are each our own special mosaic of biochemistry, emotions and spirit. She finds great joy in discovering the path that can best assist each patient towards improved health and wellness and believes with healthy food, mindset and lifestyle choices healing is available to each of us.
Gail specialized in pain management. Her experience as a massage therapist for 13 years coupled with her continued exploration of the brain and body lends to Gail’s expertise in dealing with pain management. She works with patients of all ages and collaborates with practitioners in other fields of wellness when necessary.
When Gail isn’t practicing acupuncture she can be found running through forest trails, practicing yoga, exploring ways of being a better human or bouncing on the trampoline with her two kiddos. She looks forward to collaborating with you in achieving optimum health, balance and joy in your life.
